First, you need to check the source of the review. There are several review sites on the internet and you can just pick which of them you will get your needed information. Choose independent third party sites instead of sponsored websites to ensure that you will get an honest review of products and services. Forums and discussion boards are also excellent sources of reviews as they are made by actual customers with the first-hand experience on the product. Look for discussion boards with King Kong advertising reviews as its topic for you to find customer opinion on the products or services.

Determine actual reviews

The thing about product reviews is that there several fake reviews proliferating on the internet. Any company can just pay for bogus writers to submit reviews on their products. However, if you know how to detect fake reviews from reviews made by actual customers, you will know which reviews to believe and which to disregard. Reviews with perfect grammar, spelling, and sentence construction may not come from actual customers.

Determine what’s useful for you

There are King Kong advertising reviews that tackle various aspects of the products or services. Some may talk about the price while others may talk about the way the service was delivered, and so on. You don’t have to read all the reviews. To save time, read reviews that contain the information that you need. Although it could be added information if you read as many reviews, you can already get the right info if you read the right ones.

Web Design Critique: Elite Tutor

There’s elegance in simplicity; sometimes, less really is more. That’s what Elite Tutor, a Singaporean tuition firm, is going for their site, with a straightforward design and layout that doesn’t beat around the bush.

First thing that visitors to Elite Tutor’s site will see are the words “Need a Tutor?”, in large font, displayed prominently at the middle of the home page. It’s a question, true, but one that boldly communicates what the tuition firm is about without the need for any lengthy explanation or fancy visual aid.

This straightforward, simplistic, practically minimalistic, approach is the design aesthetic of the site. A simple white background contrasted with black text, with the occasional splash of color from important icons and logos.

The links for getting a tutor, the firm’s contact information, the link to their WhatsApp, and the link to their zendesk chat, these are a few of the things on the site that add a splash of color while also providing useful navigation and communication tools to visitors. They’re hard to miss, work quite nicely, are always accessible, and don’t distract from the main content, even though they use different colors, for example, the WhatsApp link is bright blue,, the live support interface is bright green, and the ‘request a tutor’ link is a black, pulsing icon that’s always located on the top left of the screen.

These aforementioned icons help expedite navigation in Elite Tutor’s site, alongside links to the other pages located atop the screen. All these elements, as mentioned before, never move from their positions relative to the browser, allowing visitors to access their functions whenever they need to, which is very convenient.

If anything feels wrong about Elite Tutor’s site, it’s the minimalistic design approach making the site feel empty at times. There’s a good amount of text to scroll through, all of which are informative without feeling overlong, but the issue is that there are no colorful logos or vibrant images of tutors or students to give the site a sense of life or a humanizing element.

The professional approach is something Elite Tutor does very well, but perhaps it could afford to put some faces on their customers or their staff. Learning and teaching, after all, is a very human process.
